I had to read this book for school and it wasn't as bad as expected. Basically what this book is about is there a soldier named MacBeth and he was the Thane of Glamis. He was a great soldier and killed all of his enemies. Then as he comes back from a war, he see three witches that tell him his future. They tell him that he is going to be the King of Scotland. MacBeth feels the urge to become King and him and Lady MacBeth plans to murder King Duncan. Once the murder occurs he feels guilt and mental illness goes upon the couple. From this death, more and more murders occur from paranoia of the fact that someone may find out the truth of King Duncan's murder.
